Decent falls, but there is still a lot of storm damage in the area from the flooding that occurred in 2016. The road to the falls also has a significant amount of construction going on to fix all the road wash outs. Plan to add about 30 minutes of additional driving due to the construction.
Beautiful park with great views. Beware the under-construction drive there. It is also very small so if you're only going to hike, be ready for a short trip.
Do not ask how I found this out of the way place. Great place to find again. Walking areas and great view of the river.
Beautiful area. Road driving out can be a pain. Narrow and worn but under the process of being widened. Long term construction. Lots of abandoned homes on road. Restroom is an outhouse. Path is a raised boardwalk making it easy to navigate. Great place for photos.
What a blast! Definitely in good hands with this crew! I was admittedly terrified, especially after the safety briefing, but our guide Chirs took expert care of us. Can't wait to come back in the Spring!!
